Erin McDade
Senior Program Director of Architecture 2030
Erin McDade is Architecture 2030’s Senior Program Director. She leads Architecture 2030’s public policy and embodied carbon initiatives, focusing on developing data-driven solutions for building sector decarbonization. Recently she led the development of building-level, sector-wide decarbonization policy impact assessment models for each of the eleven municipal Zero Cities partners to support the development of city-specific policy roadmaps. She is currently managing Architecture 2030’s Zero Code initiative.
Annual Party & Leadership Award Ceremony
The U.S. Green Building Council of West Michigan's friends, members, professional partners, staff, and board celebrated the 2021 year at the Annual Party and Leadership award ceremony on March 10, 2022. Erin McDade, Assoc. AIA., Senior Program Director for Architecture 2030, led a thought-provoking discussion on the importance of and timing necessary to decarbonize our buildings that ensures the best possible economic and community health outcomes.
The night ended by celebrating the 2021 Leadership Awardees. These 8 organizations exhibited excellence in the green building sector. Each project pushed the envelope and put sustainability and human health at the forefront of design and construction. The Awardee descriptions and profiles are all below.
