CHAPTER INTEREST CIRCLES
Guests are Welcome To Join the Interest Circles

Purpose:

WM Chapter Interest Circles are market sector interest groups that meet to identify and develop services or products the community needs to accelerate integrated environmental and energy design for a whole building approach.

Members and guests  offer a volunteer-driven exchange of ideas, resources and information that includes a monthly meeting.

The primary focus is on the need for education, development of diverse leadership and community outreach.

Interest Circle educational activities that volunteers may coordinate include Power Point presentations, distribution of USGBC and referenced resources, scheduling national and local workshops to  West Michigan, support of the Emerging Green Builders Natural Talent Design Competition, developing curriculum, etc.

Examples of Communication marketing activities that volunteers may coordinate includes surveys, media relations, co-hosting or displaying at regional expos and conferences, webpage and newsletter content contributions, speaking schedules, presentations, etc.

A Interest Circle includes one appointed and one elected volunteer who is required to report to the WM Chapter General Circle, where activities are coordinated for communication to other members
