Pollution Prevention (P2) and Sustainability Assessment Implementation Program through EGLE

Funding:
A total of $100,000 is available for projects that meet the scope of work requirements in the Request for Proposals (RFP). A minimum 25 percent match of the total requested grant funds is required of all applicants. Generally, the grants awarded are from $10,000 to $25,000

Who is eligible?
This year’s funding is available to any small businesses or manufacturer with less than 500 employees that is located in Michigan and has completed an assessment that falls under one of the following U.S. EPA's P2 National Emphasis Areas:
Food and Beverage Manufacturing and Processing.Automotive Manufacturing and Maintenance.Metals Manufacturing and Fabrication.
Additional Notes:
The purpose of this program is to help small businesses and manufacturers implement P2, sustainability, and in-process recycling recommendations identified during an energy, waste, or sustainability assessment.
Deadline to Apply:
Applications will be accepted until all funds are committed, or March 3, 2024, whichever comes first.
